Baba causes (Kaara) all (Sarva) (Mangala) auspiciousness and prosperity. He is the granter of happiness, good luck, bliss and felicity. To see Him is itself the beginning of a new chapter of well-being and contentment. It is an auspicious occasion, a Mangala Muhurtham. Baba blesses all the Mangala Samskaras of man and allows Bhakthas to have them in His presence- the auspicious rituals prescribed by the Sastras like Naming, first feeding, first tonsure, ear boring, upanayanam, marriage, shasthipurthi santhi (60th year of life completion). But as Emperor Ashoka has written in His edicts, 'Dharmamangala, the living Dharma, the spread of Dharma, mutual instruction in and inspiration for Dharma'-this is far more important than the rituals and festivals called Mangala. Baba enjoins the observance of Dharmamangala, which is the basic task for which He has come.
Baba grants happiness and felicity so that people may turn to God and discover His glory in the world around them, see Him as the indweller in all. He says that the Body is a precious instrument through which alone God can be seen and experienced. So He confers health, strength, intelligence, mental alertness and joy, to make us reach the goal.
