Sri Sathya Sai Baba is reverently addressed as Bhagawan; this name, though used by many is most appropriate to His glory. For, it means "He who possesses the six excellences in full: Aishwaryam (Greatness, Might, the Attributes of Omnipresence, Omnipotent, Omniscience), Dharma (Virtue, righteousness, equity, impartiality, Propriety), Yasas (Fame, reputation, Splendour), Sri (prosperity, plenty, majesty, dignity, grace, lustre), Jnana (Wisdom, Intelligence) and Vairagya (Detachment, Tranquility, balance)'. Consider again another scriptural definition of Bhagawan (Vide Vishnu Purana) which seems to have been framed correctly to indicate Sri Sathya Sai Baba! "He who knows the origin and consummation of every being, their comings and goings; He who is the master and sovereign of Avidya, and the repository of Vidya is Bhagawan". Therefore, the Garland of 108 Precious Gems concludes with this confirmation and this affirmation.
