Sangam means 'attachement', 'bond'. Baba has no attachment to anything, for 'things' are phenomenally trivial to His supreme sovereignty, He needs nothing for Himself. He is ever eager to help, satisfy and bless. "There, as well as here, this is My task" - He says. "Your joy is My food; your food is My joy' - He declares. He is very busy in feeding the roots of faith in human hearts, in guiding and guarding the good, in illumining the path of the Sadhaka; but this Karma or activity does not tarnish His 'Witness- hood'. In the Gita, He has said,"Na Maam Karmaani Limpanthi", (Activity does not affect My nature in the least). Baba has said that His Grace is like sunlight which enters all open doors or the electric current which activates all bulbs, which are connected with a switch that is on. "Na me dveshyosthi napriyah" (I have no foe, no friend). "It is you who hate and love and reap the results", He says. He is ready to illumine all, to activate all. "I feel no urge to work; none can blame Me if I don't. I can, by My will, accomplish whatever I want. I work ceaselessly for you, with you, because I must elevate you through your own efforts, help you to climb the steps and reach the goal, at your own pace, prompted by your own purified will".
