(Saran=Surrender; aagatha=those who come; thraana=save). He saves those who surrender. When He came as Rama, He said that He will accept any one that surrenders to him with a sincere heart, however wicked his history is. Repentance and Surrender are the gates to His heart. Now, Baba gives the same assurance. "I shall bear all your burdens; when you have boarded the train, why carry the box on your head? Leave everything to Me!". But, we must allow Him to treat us, as we desire! Then there is no right to judge as good or bad, pleasant or painful; there is only joyful acceptance of whatever happens, as Baba's Grace. You cannot have it half and half, one leg in one boat and the other in the second.
Rely on Him and Him alone. "Maamekam Saranam Vraja; surrender to Me only'. Then the Lord says in Bhagawad Gita, "You can give up all duties and obligations, I shall save you and liberate you". Since it is the same voice that is speaking, the same grace is flooding the world. In the Gita, He spoke to Arjuna, seated as charioteer of the vehicle he rode in. Baba is today, declaring that He is the Sanathana (timeless, Everpresent, Eternal) Sarathi (charioteer) the invisible but ever present charioteer of all beings, of all the vehicles of our souls are riding from birth to death. "Surrender and be saved".
