Abheeshta means 'Desirable objects'. Baba grants (prada) all (Sarva) abheeshta (desirable objects) from food and clothing and shelter, health and happiness to vision of the Divine form which man yearns to earn! "As a fish is drawn towards the rod by a worm, I drag you towards Me by means of some ache or pain or loss or distress! I then win your loyalty to the discipline. I encourage and lead you on by the hand towards the goal of the human individual; the realisation of his Divinity", says Baba.
That discipline starts with control of speech, renunciation of evil habits like smoking and drinking, adoption of satwic food, giving up sensual entertainments like the cinema and the reading of degrading literature. It insists on Bhajan, Keertan, Japa and Dhyana at regular hours of the day; and step by step the props of evil fall off, the fog fades and man is made aware of the Madhava he is! That is the highest Abheeshta, Baba confers, for which He chooses us and fondles us, as a Mother does to her children!
It is the mother aspect of this Siva-Shakthi that graciously grants Thusti (contentment) joy, wisdom, courage, self-control, beauty and splendour and Pushti (Excellence in speech, health, wealth, children, home, residence).
